I like (crime) thrillers, action films, adventure and all that but basically everything goes.
Western is something I often have difficulties to get into but a good film's a good film no matter what genre.
What's the point in even telling that? You figure that out.
Some of my favorite filmmakers are John Woo, Clint Eastwood, Michael Mann, Spielberg, Hitchcock and many others.
I've been more or less, depending on the "era", interested in movies since I was 10 but I still consider myself walking in the baby shoes. I haven't even scratched the surface of mainstream movies, let alone less known ones, but that's OK with me. I have no rush.
Lately, I've seen myself as "an unsatisfied customer." I rate movies only by feel rather than evaluating (even superficially) and that's just being a contemptuous jerk. Like sometimes I watch a movie and see it's pretty good but because it didn't "feel good" I'm like "Yeah, f*ck this sh*t." When did I become such a diva? It ain't really fair and I'm trying to get rid of it.
